Privacy Policy

IVS LawDesk (“the App”) is provided by IVS Softtech Private Limited, Kanpur, India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Your account details: name, mobile number (verified by OTP), email, address, PIN, district, state, office address, Bar Registration number and year, and a profile photo (selfie).
• Practice data you enter: your clients' names and phone numbers, case details, hearing dates, fees and payments.
• Device information: a one-way hash of your device ID, used only to allow one free trial per device.
• Payment records: order and payment IDs from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank details.

How we use it

• To run the App: log you in, store and back up your data, show your hearings and fees.
• To send hearing reminders by SMS to your clients' numbers, only when you turn on automatic SMS reminders.
• To manage your trial, subscription and SMS balance, and to contact you about your account.

We do not sell your data or your clients' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on your phone. It is also stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) servers in Mumbai, India, during the trial and on paid plans, so it can be restored. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our cloud provider. Access to each account's data is limited to that account.

Who we share it with

• Google Firebase — login, database, file storage (servers in India).
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• MSG91 (Walkover Web Solutions) — delivery of SMS reminders under our registered sender ID IVSLAW.

We may disclose data if required by Indian law or a court order.

Your clients' data

You are responsible for having your clients' consent to store their contact details and to send them reminders. We process this data only on your instructions.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account and all its data, email contact@ivssofttech.com from your registered email or call +91 94507 46793. We will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g. payment invoices).

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us.
